What I've Learned this Week (Spring Cleaning Edition)

1. Windows are ridiculously dirty.

2. New music is a necessity.

3. However long you think it will take....triple that.

4. No matter how long you scrub and how gross it is...no one will notice unless you tell them.

5. Once you start spring cleaning EVERYTHING starts to look dirty. 

Thank goodness this only happens once a year.

Schools out for SUMMER

School is over!

(for summer)

Now that everyone is most likely done I would like to explain the best way to celebrate this wonderful wonderful time.

Start with booze.

I suggest champagne. 

It's sparkly and makes anything feel fancier. 

Win.

Now find something thick and funky colored to put on your face.

 The goal is to look as weird as possible.

Now, put on some awesome music and draw a nice hot bubble bath.

 Don't forget to refill your drink before you hop in. 

Your drink should never be empty. This is important.

Then, after the bath you make something delicious and chocolaty that requires mixing and possibly baking.

And then you eat and drink and be merry. 

And that my friends is how you celebrate the end of the semester.

Mama's Day

The perfect mother:

Teaches you how to be kind. 

(Including the fact the fact that it's not fair to trick your little brother into trading his teddy bear for a rock)

Takes care of you when you're sick. 

(Even sometimes when you're in your 20's and live in a different house)

Listens to your thoughts and feelings no matter how silly they may be.

(Sometimes the search for the perfect pair of jeans is exhausting and you just need encouragement)

Loves you unconditionally.

(Even when you were a teenager)

What I've Learned Wednesday

Don't fret.

I am here to tell you what I've learned this week!!

1. There is nothing more beautiful than tulips that you didn't know were in your yard but are.

NOTHING.

2. Just because wine is under $5.00 does NOT mean it will not be delicious.

3. My dog really hates skateboards.

Like, she hates them so bad that she tries to put her face in front of moving ones just to show them how much she hates their faces.

4. The only thing more painful than a Jillian workout is two.

Two in one day.

Two in one hour. 

Feel my pain.

FEEL IT!!

 Alrighty. That's it for now.

Rain Boot Weekend

 I live in Montana.

What this means,

(other than you know, the cows I ride to the market)

is that the weather is extremely unpredictable. 

You can literally be in shorts and sandals one day and then snow boots the next.

Once at summer camp 

(summer orchestra camp because I am THAT cool)

it snowed several feet and all the trees broke and crap.

Good times.

Anyways, back to my point.

Rainboots.

The weather was tricky this weekend. 

Meaning it rained, snowed AND was nice and sunny.

And because of this I got to wear my awesome rain boots.

They're yellow.

Just like the girl on the salt container thingy.

Neat.

Cinco De Drinko

It's Cinco de Mayo y'all!!

You know what that means.

A day to eat lots of delicious food and drink mucho tequila! 

Like we really need a special day for that.

Amiright???? 

Anyhoo, I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful day.

What I've Learned Wednesday

That was fun.

So anyhoo...here's what I've put in my mindhole this week:

1. The difference between Cornucopians and Neo-Malthusians.

2.  If a student of yours starts to behave like an actual good student towards the end of the year it does NOT mean they will turn in their final paper. 

3. These cookies are the devil. They will mess up your fitness and make you crave them for at least three more days after they are gone.

4. Whisky is kinda okay to drink. 

5. If you're only spending 15 dollars then it's totally okay to buy that new dress you want. Totally. 

And now since it's finals week and I am loosing my mind,
