 the ability to have mexican food, italian, mediterranean, chinese and sushi all in one town,

and a really nice excuse to get day drunk.

Things have been a bit crazy over here.

THIS lovely lady here is getting le married and I'm her Maid of honor.

You know what that means?

PARTIES!!

Bridal showers complete with lovely grannies and mimosas 

and don't forget the Bachelorette Party!!

We had ourselves some mexican food and lovely cocktails.

Oh yeah, and John Mayer made an appearance.

My Weekend

Sweet old ladies, mimosas, fancy dresses, 

girly drinks, tequila, cupcakes, mexican food, shots, 

John Mayer (in the flesh),

shots on a ski, a tiara, candy rings, dancing, more shots,

 horcrux necklaces, cheese, One Direction.

So you know how after a super crazy few days your dog looks like this?

This is how I feel right now.

This weekend was my Birthday so I had not one but TWO parties. One for just family and one for everyone! And to top it off I kicked some serious butt at croquet.

It was great.

Saturday I nursed a serious hangover and then rallied for a sweet 80's bbq. 

And for Fathers Day we took the Padre out for some breakfast.

We also took out for some brews and dinner later. 

Cuz he's awesome sauce.

Oh yeah!

We also all went mountain biking.

I went 9.9 miles. 

NBD

So in short, 

I'm exhausted.

If anyone needs me I will be on the couch.

For like, 3 days.

Much like a very tired dog. 

Also my family and friends are the greatest.

That is all.

What I've Learned Wednesday

What I've learned this week
1. Going to Victorias Secret on the first day of their sale is a no bueno idea.
Unless you want to be there for about one hour longer than you planned. 


2. You should be taking magnesium along with your calcium!!


3. Jack White will never cease to be the greatest.
Ever.
4. Blogging while planning wedding events is sparse.
Like....super sparse.


4. 70% of your immune system is in your gut. 
70%!!! 
That's a whole lot guys.

What I've Learned Wednesday (Maid of Honor Edition)

So in about one months time I will be walking down the aisle as the maid of honor for my bestie Michelle. 

Here is what I have learned so far:

1. There is more to do than you will EVER expect.

2. When planning a successful Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party you may have to become a little bossier and more demanding than you ever thought you could be.

3. There are more sizes of table clothes than I ever thought there were. 

4. A little moral support goes a LONG way.

5. Wine is good, but free wine is better.
