So I saw this post today that Jennifer over at Simplistic Living wrote and thought it was a super fun idea so I'm gonna do one too!

Sometimes
I just want to curl up in my bed and hide from everything.
I have been panicking about what boots to buy. People really shouldn't give me choices.
I dream about the day I get to travel abroad.
I wish I could see Nick Carter. In like, real life.
I love my boyfriends facial hair. Because he loves it.
I need to eat chocolate. NEED.
I know I should be doing homework. Is that what everyone puts here?

Such a fun idea. Maybe one day I'll try starting one myself!

My Dog has Super Powers

Since moving a few weeks ago the mister and I have been missing something very important to us.

Our remote.

So for two (ish) weeks we have been *gulp
turning on the television by hand!!

Then, yesterday Ellie Bean jumped up on the couch and she HAD IT IN HER MOUTH!
As if saying, "Here mom. I found this for you...because I love you."


Conclusion: My dog has actual super powers.

What I've Learned this Week

1. Just because it sounds like the beginning of the Wizard of Oz outside does not mean it is cold. I bundled up so hard today and was sweating like a maniac by the time I got to class.

2. NEVER take your teachers word for it. ALWAYS follow the syllabus.
I THOUGHT I wouldn't be busting ass this weekend in the lab but I was mistaken.

3. I need to take more baths. Not because I smell.

Really.

4. Pine Tar soap smells as bad as it sounds.

5. Split filter printing. Yup. I did that.

So it's Monday.

I wake up and instantly feel stressed. I have SO much to do this week.

I didn't do my homework over the weekend and now I'm behind. Plus there's the multiple photo projects I have to shoot AND print and the looming question of whether to keep or drop some of my classes...which I have 2 more days to decide on.

Stress.

So I take a deep breath and get ready to head to class...and while I turn on my i-pod it automatically jumps to a song before I can pick one myself.

Robin Sparkles. Let's go to the Mall.

1. How to print of fiber paper. It's like, way wetter than r.c paper.
2. A dog can step on there own tail and make it bleed.
3. It is VERY exiting when your friend finds her wedding dress!
4. There were 51 nations before WWI and now there are 196 (ish)
5. Kindles come much faster than their cases.

1. Photo classes may just be too expensive to be worth it....
2. Living in a house with a real life fireplace is the bee's knee's.
3. That plastic stuff you put over windows to help keep heat in actually works.
4. Coconut milk makes a very interesting latte.
5. People who help with moving are saints.

Resolutions

2012 Resolutions

1. Drink more water.

It's good for your you. It makes your skin look better. It makes your body work better. Do it.

2. Make an awesome new fitness schedule and STICK TO IT.

3 days of heart bursting cardio (so basically anything Jillian Micheals or going to the gym for an hour)
1 day of ballet/pilates
3 nights of yoga

each week

anything more is good too

3. Watch less T.V.

It's bad for you and makes you like life less.

4. Listen to more music.

To replace the T.V.

5. Walk the dog more.

Because I love her.

6. Kick some ass is class.

I'm a poet and I don't even know it....

7. Stick to my gluten free diet BETTER.
For 6 months. At least.

NO CHEATING.

8. Volunteer more.

Because it's good for the world.

9. Become a better photographer.

Because I'm spending a CRAP load on the classes and if I don't learn SOMETHING than someone will have to pay.

Not literally....

I'll just be mad.

But like....REAL mad.....



And also

10. Be a better blogger. And writer.

Because I like it more than I realized.
