Happy Memorial Day
I hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend full of barbecues, watermelon, and booze. Maybe some of you will even get to enjoy a little sunshine! Remember to say a little prayer in thanks of the troops who have given their lives for our country and enjoy the extra day off!

Summer List
Well it appears the Apocalypse did not begin yesterday so that means it's okay to start thinking about all the things I want to do over the summer months. My hope is that by writing it here I may actually accomplish a few of them!

1. Read through my Nikon D5000 book and complete all the assignments.
2. Get a fishing license.
3. Catch a fish.
4. Go hiking. A lot.
5. Start my Shakespeare book.

Rope Swing Wednesday
Summer is finally -just about- here and for me and my family that means lots of trips to the lake. And more importantly, to the rope swings that live there. As you can imagine, this is pure and simple awesomeness. Much of the fun of this activity is seeing who can get the best/most extreme picture taken of them flying through the air (this competition is really only between my brothers). As a result of this fun I have years and years worth of extreme rope swing pictures (not all taken my myself), and I plan on getting more this year. So I will be sharing some of this with you in hopes to awesome up your day.....enjoy!
This photo is at Cliff Lake and was taken by my younger brother from out in a canoe in order to show just how far out my older brother can get from the shore. It's insane.

Are you there Summer? It's me, Megan.
Dear Summer,
I've been waiting patiently all winter long for you to come. Please know that I am diligently preparing for you by constantly torturing my body with exercise. This process is quite intense considering I've been stuck inside for the good part of 8 months. Seriously, I can hardly walk down my stairs today. But I will continue this in order to be ready for you, Dear Summer, and your friend, the bikini.
I have also set out wasp traps to help make the patio a safer place. These evil, flying death machines are my sacrifice to you, Oh Great Summer. Also, if maybe one could actually fly into the trap that would be great.
Please come quickly summer. This winter has been much too long and all of us here in Montana desperately need a reason to get out of our sweatpants...and maybe a little Vitamin D. We know our time with you is short so please, hurry the frack up!
Your Faithful Friend,
Megan

Bike Ridin' Dirty
Today the boyfriend and I went on our FIRST bike ride in years! The weather has been surprisingly agreeable so we figured we should take advantage. It felt so nice to be outside...though my butt is now a wee bit sore. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a cheap beer to get to. You know, to round out the summer experience.
